Healthfirst Opens New Community Office in Patchogue

Reinforces Company’s Deep Commitment to Serving the People of Long Island by Bringing Expertise Closer to the Community

NEW YORK, NY, September 18, 2018 – Healthfirst, New York’s largest non-profit health insurance company with nearly 1.4 million members, proudly announces the opening of its newest community office in the Suffolk County town of Patchogue. A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday, September 13, at 4pm at the new location: 99 West Main St., Patchogue, NY 11772.

We have already had great success and look forward to continuing to cultivate new relationships and strengthening our long-standing rapport with community partners.”

Founded more than 25 years ago by New York’s leading hospitals, Healthfirst is the fastest-growing health plan on Long Island. This is the second Healthfirst Community Office, and the company’s sixth retail location on Long Island. With nearly 130,000 members in Patchogue and the surrounding areas, opening a new location is important to Healthfirst’s promise of delivering high-quality customer service to its members. The office is staffed with bilingual representatives fluent in English and Spanish who will answer questions and help enroll those interested in obtaining health insurance coverage. The location serves as a hub for workshops and events held in partnership with local community-based organizations.
